Asia Innovations Group aims to bring China’s advanced mobile, social products, and business models to the global market. Asia Innovations Group’s flagship product, UP Live, has become the highest revenue international live video app since launching in Jun 2016, with more than 300 Million users as of 2022.

Working closely with Asia Innovations Group, UnderCover Media co-created the video and story concept, built the conversation outline, and managed the full production, which in this case was completely remote.

Andy Tian, Asia Innovations Group CEO

Andy previously was GM of Zynga China, operating several top-10 mobile games in 15 languages globally. From 2005-2007, Andy led Google’s mobile business in China.  Andy also co-founded three startups and sold two of them.

Alvin is also Vice-Chairman of the Industry of Virtual Reality Alliance (IVRA.com), President of the Virtual Reality Venture Capital Alliance (VRVCA.com), and oversees the Vive X VR Accelerators.

Audio and Video Recording Preparation

We procured professional-quality equipment and provided equipment preparation, training, and calibration to ensure the highest quality audio and video output.

This was done over multiple testing sessions and, in this case, all remotely.

Concept and Ideation

We developed the concept in detail with Asia Innovations Group, working with multiple Asia Innovations Group and HTC teams, including directly with Andy Tian and Alvin Wang Graylin.

Hosting and Discussion Leadership

We led the conversation, leaning on our three decades of experience focused on how to employ technology to make businesses more productive and profitable.

We engage our guests in compelling conversations and NOT standard interviews, enabling viewers to feel like they are eavesdropping on private conversations.

Audio and Video Recording

In this case, it was necessary to do the entire recording remotely, which takes an extra amount of care in choosing, calibrating, and implementing the highest quality microphones, cameras, headphones, lighting, and shooting locations.

We recorded in-studio quality audio and video for each participant, making the end-product much more compelling.

Audio and Video Post-production

We worked closely with Asia Innovations Group’s to ensure that the production was on-brand while also adding UnderCover Media’s creative flair.

We created impactful 3D effects and sound effects, musical intros and outros, and coordinated relevant B-roll footage.
